By working in layers, scraping and working back the paint, Daisy’s ‘internal landscapes’ convey an emotional response to the landscape. Her use of colour and texture, both subtle and strong in their lines and character, result in a body of work that is calm and compelling.
Daughter of the late comedian Pete Cook, Daisy’s work is held in a number of corporate collections including a commission for the Bank of England as well as those of celebrities including Geraldine James, Rory Bremner and Terence Conran. Her work has been reviewed in numerous journals and national newspapers including Art Review.
