The (Completely) Imperfect Day Bed is a multi-functional object; a practical and stylish addition to any living room, studio or spare room. By day it is a couch or seating bench, firm and flat for a ‘power-nap’ — by night it is a generous and comfortable single bed.
The bed is made of solid oak with the Galvin Brothers signature turned leg with a sumptuously upholstered mattress (100mm) which is available in a range of refined colours, with a eleven contrasting upholstered buttons.
The fabric is sourced from Abraham Moon – established in Guiseley, West Yorkshire in 1837.
The (Completely) Imperfect Day Bed comes with one bolster as standard, or with two bolsters for ends or corners.
Galvin Brothers make beautifully hand crafted, contemporary furniture. The brother team, Matt, a Royal College of Art graduate and Andrew, a joiner, were nominated for Designer of the Year by Elle Decoration shortly after the company was formed back in 2012.
With a mission is to revive the dying forms of carpentry mastered by their father for over 60 years their designs are created with a contemporary twist and are built to last.
