The (Perfectly) Imperfect Stool is so because it incorporates an odd, misshaped leg. The ‘wobbly’ turned leg is a quirky, deliberately disruptive, interpretation of traditional wood turning – perfectly imperfect with its odd shapes, spacing and sizes.
The leg is fixed using the traditional peg-and-wedge system returning the hand finished detail to the top.
Ideal as robust seating, or as occasional bedside or side table.
Galvin Brothers make beautifully hand crafted, contemporary furniture. The brother team, Matt, a Royal College of Art graduate and Andrew, a joiner, were nominated for Designer of the Year by Elle Decoration shortly after the company was formed back in 2012.
With a mission is to revive the dying forms of carpentry mastered by their father for over 60 years their designs are created with a contemporary twist and are built to last.
