Jacy Wall’s textile and print work is an exploration of the qualities of textiles, through surfaces, pattern, structure, seams, thread and stitch. Like in this piece, Kintsugi, interventions such as stitching, patching and darning are used to imply instability and fragility, reflecting on a long-time interest in the theme of mending.
