This tapestry is a work is a continuation of Caron's tapestry ‘The Red Line’ which was recently purchased by the Rumi Foundation in support of artists who create work of important social significance and social understanding. Caron has an innate interest in humanity and balance in society. Reparation is the act of repair or making amends for something. The artist seeks to express this in her unique way through the constant repeat of the red and changing shifts of grey. Hand woven tapestry being a medium of technical precision and intimacy. Caron creates her textiles from the ancient technique of Gobelin hand weaving, all her colours are hand dyed.
