Crafted Vancouver
If we learned one thing from last year, it was that collaboration is the way forward in this ever-changing landscape. Over the course of 2021, we have a series of exciting plans for Cavaliero Finn that have come about as a result of our learnings, starting next month when we are taking Crafting a Difference on tour to Canada, albeit virtually.
Cavaliero Finn is delighted to be collaborating with Rue Pigalle, Crafted Vancouver, and the other four galleries that make up Crafting a Difference on the Conversation Series.
Starting on 29 April and running through May the Conversation Series maximizes the benefits of a virtual platform offering a variety of experiences starting with: Curator: Talk & Tour a live virtual tour over two sessions of the Marylebone SoShiro Townhouse led by curator Brian Kennedy who selects highlights from the exhibition – Crafting a Difference.
As part of the Conversation Series, Isabelle Fish, founder of Rue Pigalle, hosts The Gallery Talks which features talks between two artists from Canada and the UK who discuss not just processes and materials, but ideas and concepts.
On May 20, for The Gallery Talks, Cavaliero Finn presents Nicholas Lees in dialogue with Michelle Sirois Silver from Crafted Vancouver as they explore the importance of process, the idea of being part of a continuum and how to nurture discipline without getting into a rut.
