Revisit our presentation, 'Grounded' at Collect 2025
At the beginning of March Cavaliero Finn presented 'Grounded' for Collect 2025, see a selection of the work showcased at the fair by 19 of the gallery's artists.
 
Grounded was a curated selection of world class craft imbued with a sense of calm and tranquillity. Our artists captured the essence of an idea in their work by stripping away unnecessary elements, distilling their message to its purest form, evoking a sense of simplicity, purity, or essentialness. In the work there's a focus on experimentation, with each artist working with their medium to create a sense of space, light and harmony.

Collect 2025 took place at Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA from 28 Feb - 2 March with previews on 26 and 27 February.

 

The talks programme at Collect featured our artist Richard McVetis who was a panelist on the Collect talk: "Contemporary Craft: Updating Tradition and Transforming the Everyday" on Saturday March 1st. The talk was hosted by Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, President of the jury for the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize and Sheila Loewe, President of LOEWE FOUNDATION. The LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize talk delved into the heritage lessons and the use of everyday materials in contemporary craft. The discussion emphasised the importance of both precision and imperfection in the creation of contemporary craft.  We hope to upload a recording of the talk soon.
