This is a much deserved accolade for Katharine who has created textiles for over 30 years. Katharine’s work is widely acclaimed, in 2016 she received the Theo Moorman Award and, in the same year, she was shortlisted for the Cordis Prize. In 2019, she was shortlisted for both the Cordis Prize and the Kate Derum Award. A year later, her work was included in the exhibition Common Thread at the New Art Centre, Wiltshire and last year, in 2025, she was nominated for the inaugural Sussex Craft Award.

Summer Verdure featured as part of Cavaliero Finn's presentation at Collect 2024, exhibited alongside work by Annie Turner and Sarah Purvey.
