KATHARINE SWAILES A childhood in the richness of the Cumbrian landscape combines with contemporary life in a Sussex countryside studio to inform the meditative, minimalist work of this weaver. Her colour-scape studies form quiet symphonies: odes to the magic of detail, complex simplicity and cohesion of vision. Katharine's work is represented by Cavaliero Finn.
RICHARD MCVETIS One of Britain's pre-eminent contemporary embroidery artists, Richard is best known for his textile sculptures - perfect cubes of black line on ivory, playing with ideas of geology, cosmology and the language of time. DALIA JAMES Beautifully geometric and of considered colour, Dalia's careful compositions are the result of an artistic philosophy shaped by the writings of figures such as Josef Albers and William Morris.
