A gifted artist found out she was battling brain cancer after suddenly losing the ability to speak. Leah Jensen, 35, had endured headaches and memory lapses for years but brushed off her symptoms.
She'd put her headache down to exhaustion, but in 2020, whilst working a shift behind the bar in South East London, Leah experienced what she believed was a migraine. Then, her vision became partially impaired, she struggled to comprehend what others were telling her, and could only manage "um" when questioned.
An ambulance was called and Leah began an eight-month ordeal which concluded with her learning she had Grade Three brain cancer.
